JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - A resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, was sentenced in federal court to 92 months in prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release, on his conviction of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced today.United States District Judge Stephanie L. Haines imposed the sentence on Shawn Geer, 49.According to information presented to the Court, on or about July 2, 2023, in the Western District of Pennsylvania, Geer possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture of methamphetamine.Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.United States Attorney Rivetti commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Geer.
