A wanted listing is an unproven allegation — a law-enforcement authority's published notice that a person is sought. It is not a sanction, not a conviction, and not proof of guilt: the subject is presumed innocent, and the screening action is risk-based (investigate → enhanced due diligence → possibly a report), never a mandatory freeze. ProofAML is not the issuing authority. Binding designations live on the sanctions hub.

Scope: we ingest structured official wanted/fugitive lists published by government and international law-enforcement authorities only. We do not ingest adverse media, negative news, or analyst-curated “special interest” profiles — our value is verifiable provenance on official lists, not a subjective risk narrative (PRD §3).
