SOUTH BEND – Manuel De Jesus Tinoco-Calderon, 36 years old, of Mexico and a resident of South Bend, Indiana, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Cristal C. Brisco after pleading guilty to felony reentry of removed alien, announced United States Attorney Adam L. Mildred.Tinoco-Calderon was sentenced to time served. He has been in custody since August 15, 2025.According to documents in the case, Tinoco-Calderon was previously removed from the United States in September of 2007.This case was investigated by the U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement with assistance from the Notre Dame Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Luke N. Reilander.
