COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – An Omaha woman was sentenced on June 26, 2026, to 48 months in federal prison for distribution of methamphetamine.According to public court documents and evidence presented at sentencing, Summer Louisa Chrans, 43, distributed one-pound quantities of methamphetamine on separate occasions in Council Bluffs. Chrans admitted to purchasing one-half pound and one-pound quantities of methamphetamine from a Council Bluffs source of supply.After completing her term of imprisonment, Chrans will be required to serve a five-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system. United States Attorney David C.
